ArtPORT LA will be a global sculpture park on 25 acres of land at the Port of Los Angeles with artworks at scale, immersive experiences, and arts education.

Future Attractions

ArtPORT LA will enhance civic beauty and community connectivity, transforming the Port of Los Angeles into a place for internationally-recognized artistic and cultural exchange, leaving a legacy for future generations.

The Los Angeles waterfront is undergoing a transformation at the Port of Los Angeles:

  • Busiest seaport in Western Hemisphere

  • Over 1 million annual cruise ship visitors

  • $1 billion new commercial and infrastructure investment underway

  • Designated one of California’s 14 Cultural Districts

  • LA County is home to 10 million people and 150+ languages

  • Co-host of 2028 Olympic Sailing

A Port for Art and Inspiration

Los Angeles is a world-class destination for the arts yet it lacks a civic-scale sculpture park.

The 25-acre 22nd Street Park at the Los Angeles waterfront is the perfect context for artworks by local, regional, and international artists.

22nd Street Park is the primary site for large-scale art installations as recommended in the Port-commissioned Connectivity Plan. View public art related highlights of the plan here.

A Port is more than a place for cargo and commerce; it is a hub for connecting cultures and ideas.
